This policy describes Pocket Guestbook, published by Launchdesk LLC, and this support website.

What the app stores

The app stores event names and dates, selected themes and prompts, optional guest names, video and audio recordings, and generated keepsake movies locally on your device. This information is not uploaded to Launchdesk. The app does not require an account.

Camera and microphone

Camera access shows a preview and records video after a guest starts a take. Microphone access records the guest’s voice. The app does not record silently in the background. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings.

Sharing and backups

Recordings leave the app only when you choose a sharing or export destination, or through device backups managed by your operating system and settings. The service you choose then handles that copy under its own privacy practices. We do not control recipients, exported copies, or Apple backups.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases. Pocket Guestbook reads verified transaction and entitlement information to unlock purchased features. Launchdesk does not receive your payment card details through the app.

No tracking

Pocket Guestbook contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection SDKs. It does not access contacts or location. We do not sell app data.

Retention and deletion

Local events and recordings remain until you delete them or remove the app. Unfinished takes remain available for recovery or deletion. Export files may be removed by the operating system when cache space is needed. Keep an independent copy of important memories. Deleting local app data does not remove copies already shared or backed up.

People in your recordings

Get permission from everyone you record. Guests review their take before saving it to the host’s guestbook. The host controls later sharing. This is a general audience app and does not provide a public social network or profiles for children.

Support and this website

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to send, and use it to respond and troubleshoot. Please avoid sending private recordings. This static website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. GitHub Pages hosts the website and may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure its service.
